Org Change Improvements

Visualising changes in teams over time is now released, allowing you to choose two points in time and visually compare changes to people and teams. Currently we support additions, moves and removals of teams and people and exploring other data elements / attributes to expose as well.

Explore Structures Beta

Various enhancements continue to be made - you can now see parent tags as bread crumbs (including if the tag has multiple parents).

Tag Attributes

You can now add TagType attributes for links (website URLs), this will allow you to extend tag usage much like teams so that you can add a link for a repository, metrics dashboard, CMDB reference or some other external URL to help users navigate more effectively.

JIRA Cascade Field

Further optimisation of the load time has been made - we are leveraging Atlassian native storage to improve performance.

Planner / Forecast Enhancements

We've made major improvements to Planner and Forecast functionality that we are currently rolling out to all customers.

Highlights include:

Planner / Forecast

We’ve introduced a Supply and Demand Chart chart in Forecast to drive better understating of forecast data over time. This chart is accessible via the FTE Chart icon on the rows in Forecast and shows planned FTE against allocated FTE over the planning periods. It also includes AI summaries about the team in question and the forecast data itself.

Insights Page

It is now possible to show either direct child teams or all descendant teams in the child / descendant teams insight panel. This can be controlled with the ‘include sub-teams’ toggle on the insights filter.

Self-service API

We’ve added a new feature to allow admin users to manage public API credentials via the UI, accessible via Tenant Settings. This includes:

Team Type Change - Admin

Further error proofing has been made in the admin panel to enable changing teams based on valid types rather than free text. This is the first of a few changes that will eventually unlock changing team types within the main application itself. It requires some further guard rails to make sure the solution is robust and works for all scenarios.

MCP Server Beta

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants to interact with your TeamForm organisation data via TeamForm’s API.

The TeamForm MCP server provides 8 tools that allow AI assistants (like Claude Desktop) to:
