Product Releases
Planner & Forecast - weekly demand change emails
Power and aboveLeads can now get a weekly email that lists demand changes on their teams.
It covers the teams you have pinned, plus their sub-teams. Each change shows the old and new number of people requested. Each change also has a link to the team.
Why it matters: Leads hear about changes without checking Forecast every day.
Where to find it: Your inbox, once a week. Admins configure it in Settings, with the other notification emails.
To turn it on: Admin
- Workspace admin: in Settings → Workspace settings → Feature toggles, turn on weekly demand change emails.
- Workspace admin: in Settings, add the Forecast demand change notifications data source. Recipient tags are optional. If you leave them empty, TeamForm sends the email to every Power and Admin user with pinned teams.
- Each lead: pin the teams that you want emails about.
Product Improvements
Positions - improved position visibility and functionality
Power and aboveA position is a funded seat. It can be filled, vacant, or shared.
TeamForm now shows more about each position and gives you more ways to manage it. Each seat shows next to the person in it. Your org design and workforce plan match the roles that you approved.
With these improvements, you can:
- See each seat, the person in it, their full-time equivalent (FTE) hours, and their manager.
- Fill or vacate a seat with one click.
- See people inside their seats on the org chart. Filled seats show first.
- See the number of filled seats and total seats for a team and its sub-teams.
- See the ID from your human resources information system (HRIS) for seats that come from that system.
- Raise and track hiring requests on a seat.
Why it matters: You can plan with the seats that you funded, not only the people in them this week.
Where to find it: Sidebar → Workforce → Positions. You can also open a team → Org chart.
To turn it on: If you use Positions now, you already have these updates. To try Positions or to give feedback, talk to your Customer Success or Support team.
Org Design - Designs Hub, homepage, and access
Power and aboveDesigns Hub has a clearer layout. It also remembers your view.
A new Home widget shows the designs you can open.
Only the sponsors, leads, and participants of a design can view or edit it. Admins can see who will get access before they give it.
Why it matters: You find designs faster, and only the right people can change them.
Where to find it: Home, Designs Hub, and Design mode on team and org chart views.
To turn it on: Talk to your Customer Success or Support team for a demo and to share feedback. Org Design must already be on for your workspace.
Org Design - org chart properties and reporting lines
Power and aboveYou can now show your organisation's own people attributes on the org chart.
In the reporting line view, each person shows under their manager. To change a manager, drag the person onto the new manager. You can move many people at the same time.
The change log now starts with a useful date range.
Why it matters: Chart reviews take less time, and a manager change takes one step.
Where to find it: Open a team → Org chart → Properties or View reporting line. The Change log tab has the dates.
To turn it on: Talk to your Customer Success or Support team for a demo and to share feedback. Org Design must already be on for your workspace.
Planner & Forecast - Workforce tab and hiring requests
Power and aboveSeat-based planning now has its own Workforce tab next to Forecast.
It has more filters and columns, for example team type and tags. Totals stay on screen when you scroll. You can download the view as a spreadsheet (CSV file).
Hiring requests can now include fields that your organisation adds. You can create or edit a hiring request from the position page.
In Planner, a reference date of Today now stays today. To see the last submit date on Forecast, put your pointer on Submit.
Why it matters: Large plans are easier to read, and each hiring request stays linked to its seat.
Where to find it: Open a team → Workforce or Forecast. For hiring requests, open a position.
To turn it on: Talk to your Customer Success or Support team for a demo and to share feedback. The Planner and Forecast fixes need no extra switch.
Search - simpler people search
Directory and abovePeople search now gives the same results everywhere in TeamForm.
Directory users no longer see filters they can't use. Power users keep the filters they can use.
If Positions is on, you can filter by allocation status.
Why it matters: Finding people is simpler.
Where to find it: Global search.
To turn it on: No switch needed. The allocation status filter needs Positions.
Tags - required fields and quicker saving
Power and aboveTeamForm now makes sure that you complete required tag fields.
When you add a tag, TeamForm saves it immediately. It asks for required fields in the same place.
In tag settings, Power users and admins now mark each field Mandatory or Optional.
Why it matters: Your tag data is complete, and you click less.
Where to find it: Tags on people, teams, and positions.
To turn it on: No switch needed.
Org Chart - navigation and everyday fixes
Directory and aboveTeams in the sidebar are now real links. Ctrl/Cmd-click opens a team in a new tab. Directory users and Power users can both use these links.
Compare changes is now always available on the org chart. It also loads correctly.
Long team names now fit their cards. New sub-teams show immediately.
Why it matters: Links work as they do on other websites, and you see fewer errors.
Where to find it: Sidebar → Teams; open a team → Org chart.
To turn it on: No switch needed.
Workflows - SFTP push and run status
AdminAdmins can now send files to a secure file transfer (SFTP) folder, with optional encryption.
Each workflow card shows the status of the last run.
When you turn on a schedule, the workflow no longer runs immediately.
Why it matters: Your integrations run when you expect them to.
Where to find it: Settings → Workflows.
To turn it on: Admin
- Workspace admin: in Settings → Workspace settings → Feature toggles, turn on Workflows.
- Add SFTP steps in the workflow builder.
API Manager - easier Jira connection details
AdminAPI Manager now shows the details you need to connect the Jira plugin.
The colours for key expiry are also clearer.
Why it matters: Admins find the correct keys faster.
Where to find it: Settings → API Manager.
To turn it on: No switch needed.
Jira integration - region choice and connection test
AdminYou can now pick your region when you set up the Jira plugin.
You can test the connection before you finish.
If the connection fails, the plugin now tells you what to fix.
Why it matters: You connect Jira and TeamForm with fewer attempts.
Where to find it: TeamForm for Jira setup screens.
To turn it on: Update to the latest TeamForm for Jira plugin.

Power and aboveCompare different design options on the same structure. You do not need to copy the workspace.
Why it matters: Reviewers can compare scenarios side by side.
Org Design - Change log summaries and export
Power and aboveSee a summary of people and team changes over a period, and export it for your HR systems.
Why it matters: Approvals and HR handover need a clear summary.
Org Design - Slides
Power and aboveBuild slide decks of org charts and present them full screen.
Why it matters: Leaders can review designs without screenshots.
Planner & Forecast - Workforce Guardrails
Power and abovePower users and workspace admins can check hiring requests against your workspace rules, with a clear pass, warn, or fail.
