Product Releases
Org Chart - create a team and move people in one step
Power and aboveYou can create a team and move selected people into it in one flow.
First, choose the parent team, the team type, and the name. Then check the people and their full-time equivalent (FTE) before you move them.
Why it matters: You can split a team or start a new team without many separate edits.
Where to find it: Open a team, then select people in the member list.
To turn it on: No switch needed.
Admin - workspace access on the person page
AdminAdmins can see and change the workspace access of a person on the person Details tab.
The person History tab shows the last login of the person and a summary of their access.
Why it matters: Admins can find out from one page why a person cannot sign in.
Where to find it: Open a person → Details or History.
To turn it on: Ask your Customer Success or Support team to turn on this feature.
Ask TeamForm - customer context
AdminAdmins can write a short description of the organisation. Ask TeamForm uses this description when it answers questions.
Why it matters: Ask TeamForm answers with the terms and structure that your organisation uses.
Where to find it: Settings → Tenant settings → Customer context, or Settings → Workspace settings → Workspace context.
To turn it on: Ask TeamForm must be on for your workspace. Your Customer Success or Support team can turn it on.
Product Improvements
Planner & Forecast - a faster, more flexible Workforce tab
Power and aboveThe Workforce tab now searches and filters all rows, not only the rows on screen.
You can choose, order, and save your columns, for example Employee ID and email. The column headers stay on screen when you scroll.
You can also:
- Sort, filter, and search from each column header.
- Download a comma-separated values (CSV) file with the columns on screen, including tags.
- Request a new position.
- See a shared position under each team that pays for part of it.
Why it matters: Large plans load faster, and you see the columns that you need.
Where to find it: Open a team → Workforce (where enabled).
To turn it on: No new switch is needed if the Workforce tab is on. Talk to your Customer Success contact to discuss moving to the Workforce tab.
Planner & Forecast - read-only access and forecast targets
Power and aboveAdmins can give selected Power users read-only access to Forecast and Planner outside their group access.
Admins can also block forecast changes that go above a team target. Forecast then shows a red outline and an error message on the cell.
Why it matters: Power users can see plans outside their teams but cannot change them. Plans stay inside the agreed targets.
Where to find it: Settings → Planner and Forecast configuration.
To turn it on: Admin
- Workspace admin: make sure custom group access is on. Choose read-only for power users outside custom access.
- Workspace admin: in the Planner and Forecast configuration, turn on the target limit.
Positions - registers, position details, and backfills
Power and abovePositions has these improvements:
- The positions register and the requisitions register show the TeamForm position ID and the human resources information system (HRIS) position ID. A seat with no HRIS ID can still be opened.
- A position can be edited from the positions register.
- The position details panel shows the tags on the seat and its future allocations.
- The requisitions register has status filters, the target start date, and your configured requisition fields.
- When a person leaves, TeamForm puts the backfill on the seat of that person. It does not add a second vacant seat.
- The org chart has a view option that hides empty positions.
Why it matters: You find the correct seat faster, and each seat keeps its hiring history.
Where to find it: Sidebar → Workforce → Positions or Requisitions, a position, or a team → Org chart.
To turn it on: Already available in workspaces that use Positions.
Org Chart - expand one level and keep your view
Directory and aboveNew buttons expand or collapse the org chart one level at a time.
When you leave the chart and come back, it opens the same teams at the same zoom.
Chart cards no longer flicker or reload when you move the chart.
Why it matters: Large charts are easier to explore, and you do not lose your place.
Where to find it: Open a team → Org chart.
To turn it on: Available in workspaces in org design mode.
Org Design - a simpler change log
Power and aboveThe team Changelog tab has two views, Summary and Table. Summary shows the people and team changes over a period. Table shows the net change for each person and team.
Export to HR systems is not available yet.
Why it matters: You see what changed without a long list of events.
Where to find it: Open a team → Changelog.
To turn it on: The change log is on in Org Design workspaces. For other workspaces, talk to your Customer Success or Support team.
Jira integration - test connection and clearer setup
AdminThe Jira data source page shows the saved settings. Use Test connection to check the link before you import.
If an import fails, TeamForm shows a short error message.
In the Jira plugin, you select the EU or US region. A new admin page shows site diagnostics.
Why it matters: Admins find and fix connection problems faster.
Where to find it: Settings → Data sources → Jira. In Jira, open the TeamForm for Jira admin pages.
To turn it on: Admin Jira admin: install the latest version of TeamForm for Jira.
Coming Soon
These are not generally available yet. Talk to your Customer Success or Support team for a demo and to share feedback.
Planner & Forecast - Workforce Guardrails and approvals
Power and aboveCheck each hiring request against your workspace rules. The result is pass, warn, or block.
Admins get a rules screen, approval chains, and a rule monitor. Approvers get an Inbox for the requests that wait for them.
Why it matters: Hiring decisions follow your rules, and approvers see their queue in one place.
Org Design - Design options
Power and aboveCompare design options on the same structure without a copy of the workspace.
Why it matters: Reviewers can compare scenarios side by side.
Org Design - Slides
Power and aboveBuild slide decks of org charts and present them full screen.
Slides have headers, footers, and page numbers. One slide can show up to three teams side by side.
Why it matters: Leaders can review designs without screenshots.
Insights - grade compression and demand team insights
Power and aboveSee how many people share a grade with their manager, and the grade spread on a team.
Demand teams also get Insights, with worker type, location, and job family charts.
Why it matters: Design teams can find grade and structure issues early.
Home - a new home page
Directory and aboveA new Home page shows the teams you lead, the items that need your action, and recent changes.
You can also pin a team to the side navigation.
Why it matters: Each person sees their teams and their open actions on one page.
Planner & Forecast - next Workforce tab
Power and aboveIn the next version of the Workforce tab, you can drag column headers to change their order. The tab also keeps your filters for each team.
Why it matters: Planners work in one tab instead of two.
